PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) launched a series of indoor air treatment products at the LG Air Solution Convention 2022 that are scheduled to enter the Indonesian market in the New Year.
Designed for residential and commercial buildings, all the products that were incorporated in the large collection of LG Air Solution will present an emphasis on health and environmental aspects. The exhibition was set up into three different stages; one for air conditioners, one for a new purifier, and another for single commercial air conditioner.
"Along with public awareness of air quality that affects health and concern for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, this large collection represents our effort to be the fastest and most comprehensive in providing various air treatment options for Indonesian people," said Lee Taejin, president of LG Electronics Indonesia.
LG introduced attendees to the LG Silent Air AC, with its sleek design of matte coloring, its notable advantage is the silence of its operation. The LG Silent Air air conditioner has a noise level of only 27 decibels, while the equipment offers four levels of power settings that operate with only 40 percent of its electrical power requirement. What is better is that it can be controlled at the tip of the customer's finger by downloading the LG application on their phone, in order to turn the AC on and off at any time.
From the health aspect, the innovation has a pre-filter ready to trap large dust particles that can be easily removed for self-cleaning. On the other hand, the Auto Cleaning feature works to dry moisture in the air conditioning, which prevents the growth of mold and various other harmful particles that could be blown out by this AC.
While the launched equipment is new, LG also debuted some innovations on ACs that are already on the market; LG has expanded its selection of LG Hercules air conditioners. Previously its largest capacity was 1 PK, next year LG will provide it with a cooling capacity of up to 2 PK.
The next stage was dedicated to the new and improved LG PuriCare 360°Hit Air Purifier. The new series, named AS60GHWG0, is a more affordable version of the first-generation LG PuriCare 360° Hit Air Purifier, which was presented for the premium category. Like all air purifiers by LG, it comes with a built-in ionizer and multi-filtration.
The air purifier does not mean that customers have to compromise because of the lower price. In fact, the shape allows air entry points around it and a circular plate-shaped fan at the top whose job is to circulate clean air further to the corners of the room. Collaborating with the internal filtration, its HEPA filter is able to trap up to 99.9 percent of bacteria and 99.999 percent of dust and allergens with a size of 0.01 µ.
"The availability of this smaller space capacity allows more Indonesian families to enjoy comprehensive air-cleaning technology in their homes," said Mike Kim, product director air solutions of LG Electronics Indonesia. He revealed that the new series is available for spaces of up to 60 square meters.
Lastly, the event also gave LG an opportunity to showcase its new Single Commercial Air Conditioner. In 2023, the company is emphasizing the concept of combining indoor and outdoor units to be more flexible according to user needs. This development simplifies the combination of existing outdoor units and indoor units.
The most notable, however, is that the new equipment that comes in various shapes and sizes are all designed for stronger durability, as they can withstand high outside temperatures, to as high as 50 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the Gold Fin coating is able to protect the surface of the heat exchanger components from corrosion and helps extend product life, while the utilization of LG electronic circuits can minimize damage due to power surges.
"With this high flexibility, it allows users to get energy-efficient performance as well as their investment according to their growing needs. Ensuring the unit is really running exactly as needed," concluded Mike Kim.
